A publication for the dog people.
Independent minds. Kind hearts. An incurable curiosity about dogs.
Good stories. Better company.
The Barkington Times is a canine publication about history, science, culture and the animals who share our lives. We believe an interesting story can be both carefully sourced and a pleasure to read.
A magazine to get lost in
BarkingtonTimes explores canine history through considered themed issues. The opening issue is in development. We publish completed issues after research, editing and design, rather than treating a calendar assignment as a finished magazine.
A little help for a very good cause
PawPrint Rescue Finder is free. It helps readers follow source evidence, understand verification gaps and contact animal welfare organizations directly. Membership revenue and charity donations are separate; donations go to the organization’s own official channels.
