What is included
Members receive unlimited premium articles, all completed published BarkingtonTimes issues, the published magazine archive, saved stories, reading history and magazine progress. Future editorial themes are not completed products. Check the current library before subscribing.
Payment and renewal
Stripe securely handles checkout and billing. Membership is granted only after server-side verification, not because a browser reaches a success page. No free trial, annual subscription, lifetime membership or individual magazine fee is offered. No live charges are enabled until the operator explicitly configures and authorizes billing.
How to cancel
Open Account → Manage billing to use the Stripe Customer Portal. Configure the portal to cancel at the end of the current billing period. A canceled-at-period-end subscription retains access through its verified paid-through timestamp. No new charge should occur after cancellation takes effect.
Failed or paused payments
Past-due, unpaid, incomplete, trialing, paused and canceled states do not grant premium access under this application’s conservative entitlement policy. An active subscription also requires a paid latest invoice and the configured $7.99 monthly price. Correct payment issues through the billing portal.
Refunds and statutory rights
Contact the operator about duplicate or erroneous charges. A jurisdiction-specific refund policy, tax treatment and required consumer disclosures must be finalized before commercial launch. Nothing here is intended to remove mandatory statutory rights.
